About Mad Staring Eyes
Mad Staring Eyes are a 4 piece from North London. After releasing their self titled debut album in 2006, they won the John Peel 'Best New Band' competition and played Glastonbury Festival. They have since toured in the USA, Canada, Russia and Germany and played gigs with everyone from The Subways to Pete Doherty. Their second album, 'Bored Of Looking Cool', recorded at Ray Davies' (The Kinks) Konk Studio in North London, was released in 2008 on their own label, Retina Records.
