About Mackermoe
David "Mackermoe" Moore was a founding member of Rappers Rapp Group in Los Angeles area and is one of the old school west coast hip-hop greats. He continued with the group as they changed their name to Dark Star [Rap] in 1982. On some recordings his name was spelled Mackermo, and he would sign his name Macker Moore at times. In the Rappers Rapp Theme he raps about his previous names which are, in order, Luxury, Mr. D, and Killer Moe. His rap portion was one of the longest on the track
