Duffy Hooks III is the founder of the first rap label on the west coast, Rappers Rapp Disco Co., founded in 1981. He produced pioneers of old school west coast hip-hop like Disco Daddy, Captain Rapp, Rappers Rapp Group, Dark Star, and The Brothers Supreme.
