Solo artist born 1961 in South Yorkshire, UK : writing and producing music that can broadly be described as - ambient, electronica and instrumental. From 1980-1984 Scarfe played keyboards with The Danse Society a post-punk group from Barnsley UK who achieved moderate success as independent artists but failed to make the transition to major label. Frustrated with the direction the band had moved towards Scarfe left The Danse Society in 1984. He
