About Lyca Sleep
Formed in late-2001, lyca sleep's music was described by www.drownedinsound.com as "skyscraping pastels of sound". They released two singles via Genepool Records—sold me a ride (22/11/2004) and closer in (20/06/2005)—and played regular tour supports with South, six.by seven, Oceansize and The Warlocks. In 2003 and 2005, they played at Leeds Carling Festival, and were the main support act to Pure Reason Revolution on the Nokia Raw Tour in October 2005. The band split in November 2005.
