About Lurpakket
Lurpakket was formed many years ago by a group of people that enjoyed playing and singing Nordic folk music. The project really picked up speed in 2006 when the band decided to attend Medieval markets and festivals as a music group. Costumes were created, a new repertoire was found and research was made concerning Medieval and Renaissance music and instruments. A part from being able to play early music instruments and having competent singers, the band stands out by the fact that the members are academics with knowledge of history
