The song has now accompanied over 45,000 videos on the platform. The genre he belongs to is known as slung, a portmanteau of "smile" and "lungskull". His music also got very popular because of audio makers on roblox illegally uploading his songs. He even had a New York Times article made about him in 2021, inciting mixed feelings from the community.
