About Lulu and the Black Sheep
With an Americana style, Lulu has a powerhouse voice that’s beautifully gritty and commanding. Accompanying her guitar and mandolin picking, her husband Allen Wayne Nichols keeps time with stomping foot drums, and overlays the strong rhythms with wildly infectious guitar solos. They are an incredibly strong duo often accompanied by the stylish and intense ‘Doghouse’ Dave Stopani on upright bass.
