About Luis Frank
Luis Frank Arias Mosquera, “El Macry”, was born in Cuba in 30 July 1960, the son of a Cuban singer of songs and tangos in the city of Las Tunas. He owed his international breakthrough to the music project Buena Vista Social Club in the late 1990s that triggered the boom of traditional Cuban sound. He spent six years as the first voice in the group of Buena Vista star Compay Segundo in concerts around the world and worked with the band of Afro-Cuban All Stars of Juan de Marcos González
