About Luigi Texidor
Luigi Texidor's solo debut was in 1979 for Nuestra records (a Fania subsidiary). His first album, El Negrito De Sabor, contained fine examples of Texidor's brand of swing, imagination, and humor. The better-known tunes are the hilarious "Adios, Don Gabino" and the self-penned "Quien Trabajará." Later, he completed three more albums with wonderful tunes and cemented himself as one of Puerto Rico’s most creative, self-styled improvisational singer. ~ José A. Estévez, Jr., All Music Guide
