
Luigi Mancia, also known as Luigi Manza (c . 1660 - post 1708), was an Italian composer and singer. Nothing is known about his early years and his musical training. The year of birth 1658 is derived from an appraisal policy of his father, Domenico Manza, recently discovered by Marco Bizzarini. In 1687 he entered with the singer Ferdinando Chiaravalle at the court of the elector Ernesto Augusto of Hanover, patron and lover of arts, where he wrote his first known composition
