About Luichy Guzman
Influenced primarily by artists like Pink Floyd, U2, Fito Paez, Soda Stereo, Tom Petty, songwriter Luichy Guzmán (guitars, keyboards, vocals) releases his first album "Contracorriente" amidst troubled times in his homecountry, Dominican Republic. Using guitars, bass and drums as the basis for the music, decorated once in a while with mandolins and accordions. It was recorded in "Estudio 828" an up-and-coming Dominican recording studio and record label beggining november 2003 and ending september 2004.
