With a voice described as expressive and powerful, she performs traditional English folk songs as well as her own material. Her debut album, Adelphi Has to Fly (Navigator Records), was released on 13 June 2011 to critical acclaim. In the BBC Folk Awards 2012 she won the 'Best Newcomer' category.
