About Lucy Child
Born in upstate New York, Lucy Child grew up with a plethora of musical influences stemming from classical piano lessons and church choir to top 40 radio and her father's favorite Puccini and Verdi operas. An avid fan of almost all genres, Child admits to the distinguished sonic impressions of masters such as Joni Mitchell, Laura Nyro, Nina Simone, Kate Bush, and Bob Dylan to name a few. The powerful influence of these and other legendary artists inevitably inspired Child to create her own musical sounds. ..
