About Lower Synth Department
Lower Synth Department rose from the ashes of Les Sirènes Débrouillardes in 2010 as a solo-project of the founder of the latter band. The music of the band is deeply influenced by and related to the experimental electronic music of the late 1970s and early 1980s, that was composed and performed by such bands as The Human League, Inertia, Vice Versa, The Normal, Cabaret Voltaire and others alike. Although the band is very careful by creating a minimal electronics sound obviously appearing vintage in itself
