
Arnold Ludwig ('Louis') van Dijk (born 27 November 1941 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands - died 12 April 2020 in Laren, The Netherlands) was perhaps the best, most highly regarded Dutch pianist of all time. His career in jazz and classical music spanned six decades. Van Dijk studied solo and classical piano at the Amsterdam Conservatorium and became fascinated with jazz music while studying. He has performed and recorded with many greats, including Ann Burton
