"Don’t know much about Uruguay? Here’s a good place to start. Raining down a volley of twin-guitar heroics and foot-stomping bass is Montevideo’s own Los Vellocets. Their influences drip with Motor City sweat making the best of a Nugent / Stooges mashup, stoner rock, and 60's psychodelya . Throwing in a bit of MC5 irreverence and plenty of Detroit diesel lead the charge in “No Regrets.” The song packs a punch (complete with cowbell and piano) as it stagers out of the speakers more punk than straight up rock.
