About Los Kipus
Los Kipus, a Peruvian group of Creole Music formed by Paco Maceda, Víctor Meléndez and Elizabeth Panchano began its history in August 1959 and its first presentations were made in January 1960 in Ecuador. Then they came to Lima to offer their first "live" performances. For this reason, at that time many thought they were Ecuadorians. Several were the voices that interpreted unforgettable songs. Among them are Carmen Montoro, Zoraida Villanueva, Charito Alonso
