
About Los Folkloristas
Los Folkloristas was founded in 1966 to preserve and record the traditional music of Mexico and Latin America. They were honored in 1996 at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico with a special concert given in honor of their 30th anniversary and again on their 35th anniversary in 2001. They have recorded more than 30 albums worldwide and contributed to the soundtrack for the award-winning films "El Norte" and "Mi Família".
