Lorenzino Tracetti (Lorenzino “dal liuto”; Laurencinus Romanus) (c. 1550–1552 – after 1598) Lorenzino Tracetti—often styled “Lorenzino dal liuto” and occasionally appearing in Latinised form as Laurencinus Romanus—was a Roman lutenist and composer active in the later 16th century, remembered through a web of printed and manuscript lute sources rather than through a single stable court appointment narrative. He was born in Rome around 1550–1552
