Lola blends the classic songwriting of 1960s pop with modern indie rock influences like Mitski and St. Vincent. Her music explores alienation and unrequited love with a touch of humor, against a sonic backdrop of mellotrons and washed out electric guitars. Originally from Seattle, her upcoming EP "Olympia" led by the single "Freckle" deals with the loss of innocence and reconciliation, drawing inspiration from both the mythical city of the gods and the capital of her home state.
