
LLOYD ARNOLD Born Lloyd Arnold McCollough, 25 June 1935, Memphis, Tennessee Died 10 January 1976, Memphis, Tennessee Of Irish descent, Lloyd McCollough was born into a musical family as the youngest of seven children. Whiile in high school, he developed a formidable reputation as a baseball player and was torn between a career in baseball or in show business. After the death of Hank Williams on January 1, 1953, Lloyd decided to concentrate on a career in music.
