
Liz Frencham is a singer, songwriter, and double bass player originally from Wollongong, Australia. While studying jazz at the Conservatorium of Sydney she met Greg Bryce and Caroline Trengove, and in 1997 they formed the band which became Jigzag. She has played just about every folk club and festival in Australia, and toured in the UK and Canada. In great demand as a female double bass player, she has shared a stage or studio with artists including Scott Cook, Fred Smith, Chris While and Julie Matthews, Kavisha Mazzella, and The Waifs.
