
About Little Willie Foster
Little Willie Foster (April 5, 1922, - November 25, 1987) was an American blues harmonica player and singer. Born April 5 or April 20, 1922 in Dublin, near Clarksdale, Mississippi, USA, Foster came to Chicago in 1941, playing guitar, piano and harmonica. Big Walter Horton was his tutor. He played on Maxwell Street, and in a band with Homesick James, Floyd Jones and Moody Jones. Foster recorded in the mid-50s "Falling Rain Blues", "Four Day Jump", "Crying The Blues" and "Little Girl".
