Lilly Marie Scott is a singer-songwriter from Colorado. She was born May 16th, 1989. She was a semifinalist on season 9 of American Idol. Born in Houston, Texas, her family moved to Colorado when she was four. There she began taking piano lessons at 7 years old and eventually started studying the guitar at 12. She participated in several traveling choirs as a child and has received formal singing training her whole life. Her influences include The Beatles
