About Lilit Pipoyan
Lilit Pipoyan (b. 1955) is an Armenian architect, musician, and songwiter. Pipoyan was born on 16th June 1955 in Yerevan; her family was artistic, and she first studied music, graduating from the Spendarian music school, later studying architecture, and gaining a Ph.D. in the Theory and History of Armenian Architecture. Pipoyan's compositions are based on Armenian poetry and folklore. She is fond of mediaeval secular songs, for which she creates modern arrangements
