About Lila McCann
Lila Elaine McCann (born December 4, 1981 in Steilacoom, Washington) is a successful country music artist. McCann recorded "Down came a Blackbird" while she was a freshman in high school, she gave her demo to her manager and she soon after signed with Elektra Records. She came out with her first album, titled Lila in 1997. Her first single Down Came a Blackbird went to #28 country top 40 but her second single, "I Wanna Fall in Love" went to #3. The album has gone platinum. Time magazine named her "Most Successful New Artist" in the same year.
