About Lick The Tins
Lick the Tins was an English Celtic/folk rock/indie band from London, active in the mid to late 1980s. Their name was derived from a nickname given to an old tramp by the children from the hometown of one of the band members, Ronan Heenan. They are best known for their cover version of "Can't Help Falling in Love". In 1986, the quartet scored their one and only hit with a clever cover version of a song associated with Elvis Presley, 'Can't Help Falling In Love'.
