Lian Ross, born Josephine Hiebel on December 8, 1962, in Hamburg, Germany, is a disco and pop singer known for her mid-1980s hits "Fantasy" and "It's Up to You" in the German charts. Josephine Hiebel began her singing career in 1981 at the age of 22 under the stage name Josy. By 1984, she had released four singles. In 1985, she adopted the name Lian Ross and achieved her first chart success with "Fantasy," which reached number 22 in Germany. Between 1985 and 1989
