About Les Têtes Brulées
Les Tetes Brulees is a group from Cameroon. Their music blends traditional influences from their home country with European styles (French notably in flavor) in a melding of jazz, rock and African. They use lots of pecussion, horn and reed and bass & guitar in modern style. As heard in their second album, Bikutsi Rock, they also use the western African custom of male a capella. They have recorded in Paris and toured the globe widely. Their sound is driving and infectious.
