About Les Aiglons
Les Aiglons from Guadeloupe is a 1970s " kadens " band. ( Like Les Gentlemen, Les Léopards or Les Vikings de la Guadeloupe ) "A classic Guadeloupian band of the '70s cadence era who, like nearly all bands of the period, were heavily influenced by the Haitian music that literally overwhelmed the Antilles from the late '50s to the early '80s. Les Aiglons held the record for the most sales of a record (Cuisse-La) of any Antilles band until the overwhelming success of Kassav' with Zouk-La Se Sel Medikamen Nou Ni in 1985.
