Born in an Indiana hospital bed in 1978, Lee Miles comes from a musical family - his mother played guitar and his aunt sang back up for Porter Wagoner. His father was a truck driver and his mother a guitar picking computer programmer. Growing up, Miles received a Southern style raising, wherein he learned the value of respect and hard work, oftentimes at the behest of the back of his father’s hand. Miles began writing music in the late 90’s with his first band, Dark Blonde Water.
