Led to Sea is the solo project of Seattle-based violist Alex Guy. Guy's new album, "Into the Darkening Sky", is a beautiful collection of both orchestral compositions and stripped-down songs for viola, voice and drums. She's joined on the recording by some of Seattle's most talented musicians, including Jherek Bischoff (The Dead Science) on bass, Paul Kikuchi (Orkestar Zirconium) on drums and Lori Goldston (Black Cat Orchestra) on cello. "I had written my first album on guitar, and added in the string melodies later," said Guy.
