About Leah Kunkel
Leah Kunkel (née Cohen, born on 15 June 1948; died 26 November 2024) was an American singer who was the younger sister of the legendary 'Mama' Cass Elliott and wife of rock drummer Russ Kunkel. She was one-third of trio The Coyote Sisters. She worked as a session vocalist and her career included several prestigious recordings with artists including Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Art Garfunkel, Dan Hill and Carly Simon. She released solo albums in 1979 and 1980.
