About Latex Generation
From Wikipedia: Latex Generation was a New York, USA punk rock band formed in the early 1990s. The name was inspired by a news report heard on the radio by bassist and founding member, Tommy Rockstar, that spoke of the current generation of teens and the threat of STDs, especially the AIDS epidemic. The name has also been said to be a play on words as the "Late X Generation" because the members all fall age-wise at the tail end of Generation X. Prior to choosing the name "Latex Generation", they were known as "The Dead Cat Lickers".
