
About Larry Cook
In the early eighties Larry Cook, a.k.a. Maarten Veldhuis, already has a reputation as drummer and bass player with notorious avant-garde bands ‘Morzelpronk’ and ‘ZOG’, led by the Plenty Bros. Dolf and Wouter Planteijdt, when he emerges as the lead singer and songwriter with his own band ‘Grin’, scoring a major cult radio hit with the song ‘You Need A Gun To Blow My Mind’. In 1986 Grin releases ‘A view from the valley’. For some time Veldhuis is back behind the drum kit again
