Lapsed is moniker of Jason Stevens. Built on influences of industrial, IDM, and electronic artists of the ’80s and ’90s, Jason M. Stevens found himself exploring his own cut-up, IDM/illbient sounds in 1998. In 2002, Lapsed was born as an experimental electronic act. Ad Noiseam Records debuted the glitchy, atmospheric, "Twilight (ADN34)" to critical acclaim in 2004. While growing in notoriety, Ad Noiseam released subsequent records “Lapsed (ADN53)” with “The Death of Convenience (ADN87),” co-produced with nonnon .
