About Lance Smith
"I've been playing guitar since I was 12. Went to South Plains College Music School for three semesters and was lucky enough to study guitar under John Hartin who taught me much. I fronted the house band at the Blue Light on Buddy Holly Ave. in Lubbock while I was attending South Plains. I landed a job playing lead guitar with Mark David Manders just as he was releasing Chili Pepper Sunset. Moved to Denton to play with Manders band, finished my degree at North Texas.
