There is more than one artist with the name Lanark: 1. Lanark is a quintet from Perth, Western Australia. Formed in 2012 after its members' seminal bands, Hihelo and All Eyes On Saturn, broke up; meeting each other in a house on the eponymous Lanark Street. Having spent much of 2012-'13 playing live shows, the band began working on their first release. Eighteen months later, Lanark’s self-titled debut album proved to be well worth the wait –
