Lakeus is a composer from Helsinki, Finland whose music is a rich and melodic mixture of acoustic and electronic elements with influences ranging from traditional folk music to drum&bass. His music is highly visual and cinematic, creating feelings and making images come alive. Because of this, his music has been used for example in a short film and various documentaries and commercials. Debut album "A Bright Darkness" was released in October 2009 and it is an album where Scandinavian minimalism meets the hectic heat of Spain.
