About LABoratoire DuBios
A french guy started the band. Mathieu Dubois, as a saxofon player, wanted to play around with the percussionists in a kind of laboratoire athmosphere, mixing Sounds and Rhythms from different musical styles and traditions. Meanwhile, his Landlord in Berlin's in-quarter Friedrichshain got his name wrong when installing the door bell, and called him Mr. Dubios. Mathieu liked that and it just fitted perfectly what was happening at the band rehearsals every day: so the Laboratoire Dubios was born.
