About La Primavera

Ed Durbrow, founder of "La Primavera", has studied the lute since the mid 1970s. Among his many teachers were Robert Strizich, Paul Odette and a year with Eugene Dombois at the Schola Cantorum in Basel, Switzerland in 1979-80. La Primavera's members vary, but always wear period costumes and play Renaissance music with a bit of Renaissance dancing, often at events with jugglers, magicians and balloon artists, rather than solely musical occasions.
