About La Gossa Sorda
La Gossa Sorda, translated as "The Deaf Dog"(referring to a female dog), is a music band from Pego, Valencian Country. Their music is a mixture of rock, punk, reggae and ska. Their lyrics, in catalan, are a hard social critic against the right-winged establishment, seething for a change of mind and political status of their country. The band, which was formed at the beginnings of 1999, started touring the Catalan Countries after they released ''Vigila'', playing in the ''Rebrot'' festival, in 2003.
