About La Cofradía de la Flor Solar
La Cofradía De La Flor Solar was a community of musicians, scholars and craftsmen founded in the mid 60s in the city of La Plata, a hippie type community, though they themselves admit that when they organized as such they did not even have reference to the American youth movement. In late 1968 they recorded a demo of heavy rock/psychedelia that was not accepted by the record companies. The following year they debuted in Buenos Aires at the Balloon Theater and recorded the single 'Fleeting Shadow in the City'.
