About Kyle Gass
Kyle Richard Gass (born July 14, 1960) is an American actor and a member of the bands Tenacious D (along with Jack Black) and Trainwreck. In Tenacious D, Gass plays lead guitar and sings backup vocals, and also plays the role of Black's comic foil in most of their comedy routines. His nicknames include K.G., Kage, Rage, and Rage Kage, he is also known as the other half of Tenacious D. Gass was born and raised in Walnut Creek, California, where his father turned him on to Steve Hrobuchak, an old guitar player from the late 1930's.
