About Kwisp
Kwisp includes members of the legendary Fifty Foot Hose, who are best known for their rather large influence on experimental music. Gong's Daevid Allen is a frequent collaborator. Kwisp is a San Francisco based musical group, started by musician and Hologlyphic movie pioneer Walter Funk. Their instrumentation is unique, most of it built by the band itself. Their first album, Teriyaki Vest Odyssey, merged Elf songs, free jazz, Dada, and Tantric Appalachian Pygmy Music.
