About Kvarts
Kvarts is a Norwegian band that writes, arranges and performs traditional folk music from Norway and Sweden. They've made four CDs on their own recording label, Kvarts. They won the ''Spellemannspris" (Norway's version of the Grammy) in 2006, for the best recording in the category of folk music and old-time dance music. The band members are Jo Asgeir Lie (five-row button choromatic accordion), Øystein Rudi (fiddle and Norwegian hardanger fiddle)
