About Askerladden
AskerLadden is an award-winning Norwegian folk band. This exciting group play traditional Norwegian folk music, as well as newer folk music in the traditional way. They have managed to create their own sound and groove, and at the same time they are good at maintaining the connection to the old tradition. One of their hits “Mester Hanevold” which is dedicated to the Norwegian olympic medalist in biathlon, Halvard Hanevold, has several toplistings in Norway.
