synth pop of the early eighties. Kuruki was almost a solo project, by Ghent-based musician Gerry D'Haeyer. In fact, Kuruki is mainly a one hit wonder. The single "Crocodile tears" did well, successors (like the single "Just a cat" of 1983, which was recorded with Alan Gevaert & Chris Whitley of Noh Rodeo) could never repeat this success. Gerry D'Haeyer later went on to play drums with bluesmusician Roland Van Campenhout. Members : - Gerry d'Haeyer
