About Kurtalan Ekspres
Kurtalan Express is a Turkish Anatolian Rock band formed in 1973 by Barış Manço. The band started off with four members; Murat Ses, Ahmet Güvenç, Celal Güven and Ömür Gidel. They played with Barış Manço until his death, afterwards they played with Cem Karaca. Bahadır Akkuzu joined the band in 1980. They wanted to record their own album but with the unfortunate death of Barış Manço they posponed it. Their first record; 3552, came out in 2003.
